The township story of Honey and Gavini came to life at the J&B hive Johannesburg venue in Braamfontein last Thursday. People from all walks of life came to witness the story of black pride and love through a multimedia showcase. Mementos in the form of posters were sold to die-hard fans and appreciators alike; The cast’s wardrobe and photos were on display and brought the viewer closer to the tale. The showcase was in true Kasi style with people popping Ingudu, sitting on ama crates and listening to classic Kwaito music. We would have loved to see more of a showcase and less of a turn up(But alas first Thursdays). We had an awesome time none the less. Do check out more of their work here.
