Today on video Friday we celebrate The Brother Moves on. One of the most beautiful bands to come out of Ekhuruleni…yes say it again, you can do it E-khu-ru-le-ni , the east of Johannesburg. Their music is filled with political satire and township slang charged by distinctively South African Jazz sound with soul, funk…even a dash of Punk broer. The song is called Shiyanomayini (Leave no matter what) no actually it means “Leave all you have”; a command that most of us have heard when being casually robbed.
So go get that bottle of Tequila, swing to this tune and remember it when the bartender says “shiya noma hini” before you settle your bill.

Side note: Hey Brothers, we hope to get a retweet or something, we could be like share bears and take the world by storm.
